We’ve completely redesigned the LifeRing PC client to be more user-friendly and closer in style and layout to other Microsoft programs that are familiar to most users. Soft Switches have been eliminated and the tactical map fills the entire screen. The user is able to determine which windows: inset map, messages, chats, etc., will be displayed on the screen.
Features Include:
- PTT is now available with either Zello PTT server or a Murmur/Mumble server.
- Server to Server traffic now includes Markers, Clients and Tracks.
- Symbols now display within a teardrop with the point indicating the location.
- Changing PTT channels on handset done with simple press of a button.
- Whiteboard interface streamlined and palette expanded.
- Data exchanged is encrypted using AES 256 bit encryption.
Smartphone Updates:
- Android 7.0 now supported.
- Android Heading Up, Compass Up and North Up modes.
- LifeRing’s PTT now works with both wired and Bluetooth headsets.
- International handsets are supported.
- PTT is now available either by using the Zello PTT server or a Murmur/Mumble server.
- iOS client able to participate in PTT when using a Mumble server.
