AGIS for First Responders differs from AGIS for Business and Social Networking in that we license the First Responder organization our peer to peer server software and provide a low cost Geographical Information System so that the organization can use their unique maps. This assures First Responder organizations complete privacy.

AGIS software provides First Responder mobile online group collaboration by enabling each user to: a. monitor his location and the locations of other First Responders in his group on a map and b. quickly and easily call, transmit text messages, photographs and video to other First Responders by simply pointing at the other user’s map symbol.

AGIS’s provides all First Responders (not just the command center) with knowledge of the location and status of all other users. The AGIS First Responders’ software has many features specifically designed for First Responders’ use and has software to permit it to be customer customized. AGIS provides the software for the various PDA cell phones, Laptops and Tablets and ruggedized cases for the phones. Each organization is also provided software for their own IP server and a mapping system which permits existing or new maps to be transferred to the computing devices.

When First Responders turn on their AGIS software, they will see a screen appear with their location symbol appearing on the map (which was previously loaded to the AGIS software), readout areas, and SoftSwitches™.
